Hydraulic units combine a pump, electric motor, tank and valve technology into a ready-to-operate drive and control unit for hydraulic systems. Motrac Hydraulik GmbH develops and manufactures customer-specific units in Willich in three series: the modular IMAV compact units of the IKA series and the IMAV hydraulic units of the IHA series for small to medium construction sizes with tank volumes of up to several hundred liters. Manufactured from the individual unit to the series. Each unit is tested and delivered ready for installation with documentation.
A hydraulic unit combines the central components of a hydraulic drive into a compact assembly: an electric motor drives the pump, which feeds hydraulic fluid from a tank; directional, non-return, and flow valves control and ensure the volume flow to the actuators downstream. Motrac combines standardized quality components with custom-developed special valve blocks that integrate several functions. This reduces external piping and creates a compact, ready-to-install assembly. Depending on the model, steel construction work and individual color customization complement the solution.
Customized compact units of the IKA series are modular and configurable in up to six variants. They combine standard components with special valve blocks, integrating functions and thereby enabling a compact, low-pipe design. Typical applications include units with multiple valve connection plates or for direct mounting on a hydraulic cylinder, for example for cylinder locking.
The IHA series covers small and medium-sized series of units with tank volumes of up to several hundred liters. It is often used as a replacement solution for corroded existing systems – for example, as a compact block solution with its own block design and oil tank, or with a double pump for higher flow rates.
Motrac hydraulic units are used across industries – in mechanical engineering, mobile work machines, and the marine industry. As an established partner for original equipment manufacturers as well as for direct replacement needs, Motrac covers virtually all mobile and stationary applications, from one unit to any desired number.
The IKA series is suitable for modular, compact solutions with multiple functions in a compact space; the IHA series is suitable for larger tank volumes up to the multi-digit liter range.
All three series are available both as standard configurations and as customized special solutions—from individual production to medium-volume series.
