IMAV valve housings are available as standard in two materials: aluminum for operating pressures up to 250 bar and steel for operating pressures up to 350 bar. Both versions are surface-coated, covering both weight-sensitive mobile hydraulic applications and pressure-intensive stationary systems.

At IMAV Hydraulics, hydraulic components form the foundation of individually configured valve stations and control circuits: valve housings, intermediate plates, connection plates, and threaded and switching valves can be assembled into customized combinations. As an independent distributor and manufacturer, Motrac Hydraulik GmbH in Willich develops and manufactures the IMAV valve housings and IMAV intermediate plates itself – in nominal sizes from NG06 to NG20 and operating pressures up to 350 bar, optionally in aluminum or steel. The in-house program is complemented by valve technology from the long-standing system partners Danfoss (formerly Eaton Hydraulics), Bucher Hydraulics, and Argo Hytos.

Development of the product range: In-house production and system partners

The range is divided into two sections:

The First pillar The own production includes: IMAV valve housings (2-way, 3-way and 4-way as well as double valve housings for receiving push-in valves) and IMAV intermediate plates, which are produced in-house in Willich and are surface-coated as standard.

The Second pillar System partner products: check valves, non-return valves and switching valves from the brands Danfoss (formerly Eaton Hydraulics), Bucher Hydraulics and Argo Hytos complement the in-house product range where manufacturer-specific designs or established standard series are required. This division allows for choosing between a customized special solution made in-house and a proven standard component from a brand manufacturer for each application.

Nominal size and connection type

The valve housings cover the nominal sizes NG06 to NG20. Depending on the design (2-way, 3-way, 4-way or double valve housing), both G-thread and metric connection versions are available; for screw-in valves with hollow screw-in sockets, there are dedicated hollow screw valve housing series.
